FAQ
The stuff we get asked most before people pull into the yard.
Yes. If you open an account and run loads through us regularly, you can qualify for volume pricing based on how often you come in and how much you bring. Account holders also get Net-15 or Net-30 terms, which helps on bigger jobs where you're waiting on draws. Call us at (865) 999-0857 or head to the Accounts page and we'll talk through what makes sense for your operation.
You stop paying at the gate every trip (one monthly invoice instead), you get a priority lane so you're not stuck behind a homeowner with a u-haul, and once you're running enough loads we can talk volume pricing. If you're making multiple trips a week, the math works out fast. Call us and we'll quote your situation.
Clean concrete (some rebar is fine), asphalt and blacktop, brick, block, masonry, and natural stone. The load has to be free of trash, wood, drywall, roofing, and mixed debris. If we open it up and find garbage in there, we turn it away.
No. We only take clean concrete, asphalt, brick, block, and natural stone. That means no trash, no wood, no drywall, no shingles, no mixed C&D debris, no hazardous materials, no liquids, no paint, no chemicals. If any of that is in the load, we send you back down the road.
Flat fees by vehicle, no scale, no guessing. Pickup trucks start at $40. Single-axle trailers are $80, tandem trailers $120. Single-axle dump trucks are $140, tandem dump trucks $170, and tri-axle or end dumps are $200. The full schedule is on the Pricing page.
A little rebar is fine. Heavily reinforced loads may carry a surcharge because we have to pull the steel out before it hits the crusher. We'll route you to the rebar pile so the guys can handle it. Just give the attendant a heads-up at check-in if you know there's a lot of metal in there.
No scale. We charge a flat fee based on what you're driving - pickup, trailer, or dump truck - so you know the price before you pull in. It keeps the line moving and gets you back to the job.
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Closed Sunday and major holidays. No appointment, just come on by during business hours.
245 Brookdale Rd, Maryville, TN 37801, right in Blount County. We're about 5 minutes from downtown Maryville, 10 from Alcoa, and 25 minutes from Knoxville. Easy run from Sevierville, Lenoir City, or Oak Ridge.
Yes. We run a quick vetting and credit check, and once you're approved you get priority lane access, monthly statements, and Net-15 or Net-30 terms. If your volume is high enough, we can talk about a discount too. Apply on the Accounts page.
Cash, all major credit cards, and debit at the gate. Account holders get billed monthly and can pay online.
Nope, just show up during business hours. If you've got a really big load or something unusual in it, a quick call to (865) 999-0857 helps us be ready for you, but it's not required.
Yes. We're about 25 minutes from downtown Knoxville straight down Alcoa Highway (US-129 S). For Knox County contractors, we're the closest dedicated concrete and asphalt drop-off you'll find.
Yes. Every load of concrete and asphalt that comes in gets crushed and turned back into aggregate. When you bring your clean concrete here instead of paying landfill rates, you're keeping it out of the dump and putting it back to work on East Tennessee job sites.
Both. Homeowners are welcome. If you've got a busted patio in the back of a pickup or you're a contractor running ten loads a week, the same flat rates apply. Pull in and we'll get you handled.
We turn it away and don't charge you. We have to be strict about clean loads because the crushed aggregate we sell has to be clean too. If you're not sure whether something in the load is going to be a problem, call us at (865) 999-0857 before you make the drive.
