Concrete rubble being dropped at aggregate yard
East Tennessee Drop-Off Yard

Concrete Disposal

The East TN drop-off yard for concrete rubble, slab tear-outs, and demo debris — because the landfill probably won't take yours.

Why This Page Exists

East TN Has Almost Nowhere Left To Take Concrete

If you've tried to dump a load lately, you already know the story. Here's what the region actually looks like.

Blount landfill is residents-only

The Alcoa / Maryville / Blount County landfill checks residency at the gate. If you're a contractor hauling in from Knox or Sevier, they turn you around.

Knox convenience centers say no

The Knox County convenience centers do not accept concrete or asphalt, and commercial loads at the wrong site draw a $1,000 fine. Not a rumor, it's on the county rules.

Knoxville C&D closes at 3:30

The one C&D landfill in Knoxville (Meridian Waste's Riverside on Delrose Dr) is weekdays only and gates close at 3:30 PM. Miss it Friday and you're sitting on the load through Monday.

Why Crews Bring It To Us

We're the drop-off yard the region has been missing. Four reasons that matter on the job.

Flat fee per rig

One price per vehicle, top to bottom. No scale, no per-ton math. On a tri-axle load that alone tends to save contractors a couple hundred bucks over tipping at a per-ton landfill.

Open Saturday

7 AM to noon on Saturday, and nobody else in the region is. If your crew works weekends or your homeowner client is only free Saturday morning, this is the only door open.

Recycled, not buried

What you drop gets crushed and sold back as base aggregate. If you're chasing LEED credit on a commercial job, this counts as recycled construction waste, not landfill tonnage.

No residency check

We don't ask what county you live in and we don't care what plate's on the truck. Contractors, homeowners, out-of-county crews — all get spotted the same way.

What We Accept

Clean C&D material only. If the load is mixed with trash, wood, roofing, or drywall, we'll turn it around at the gate.

  • ConcreteSlab, footer, curb, and sidewalk tear-outs. Rebar in reasonable amounts is fine.
  • AsphaltBlacktop chunks, cold-planer millings, parking lot tear-ups.
  • Brick, block, masonryChimney demo, retaining wall, CMU. Clean of mortar bags and plastic.
  • Natural stoneFieldstone, river rock, landscape rock. No treated or painted stone.
  • Clean fill dirtSoil that hasn't been mixed with trash, roots, or construction debris.

How The Drop-Off Works

Three steps, no appointment.

1

Drive up during hours

Mon-Fri 7 to 5, Sat 7 to noon. No appointment, no phone call ahead. Pull straight in the gate at 245 Brookdale Rd.

2

We spot your rig

Staff eyeballs the load and points you to the right bay. Concrete, asphalt, brick, and rock stay separated so nothing gets cross-contaminated.

3

Pay flat fee, pull out

Card or cash at the gate on the way back through. Most pickups are in and out in under ten minutes.

What it costs

Fees start at $40 for pickup loads and go up by vehicle size from there. There's no scale, so what you drove in is what you pay. Full table with every vehicle class is on the pricing page.
