Pellissippi Parkway, nearly door to door
The easiest way from Oak Ridge to our yard is Pellissippi Parkway. Pick up TN-162 on the Oak Ridge side, take it south past Hardin Valley, across I-40, and it continues as I-140 over the Tennessee River to Alcoa Highway and Maryville. It's divided highway the whole way with no downtown Knoxville traffic, which matters with a loaded truck. Plan on about 40 minutes. The other option is TN-95 south to I-40 and then US-129 (Alcoa Highway) south, which can make sense from the west end of town. Clinton and the north side of Anderson County add some time either way. We're open 7 AM to 5 PM weekdays and 8 AM to noon Saturday.
Anderson County disposal and why crews drive south
Anderson County's construction and demolition disposal options charge by the ton. Call them for current rates. Concrete is heavy, so the per-ton cost climbs fast on a slab or foundation job. The Blount County Landfill isn't an option for most Oak Ridge haulers: it may turn away out-of-county trucks, charges about $60 per ton for concrete, and keeps weekday hours only. Our yard takes clean concrete, asphalt, brick, block, and natural stone free from any county, with no scale. On a multi-load job, a 40 minute run to a free drop-off is often cheaper than a short run to a scale.

Oak Ridge has a lot of older housing stock, and renovation and replacement work produces steady loads of driveway, foundation, and slab concrete.
